  • November 18 is LGBTQ+ Math/STEM Day.
    • Historically, the Fields Institute has held a LGBTQ+ Math Day Conference. Here’s last year’s page.
    • There may be some hybrid events based in the UK free to attend. Link
  • November 20 is Trans Day of Rememberence.
    • UCR is will have a display of photos and art in honor by the HUB. Submit here by November 8th: Link

  • Education on the importance of queer resistance to white supremacy, patriarchy, and ableism; the flaws of assimilationist movements
  • Understanding and respecting queer and trans people and identities: a mathematician’s guide (for a general audience within the department)
  • Outdoor activities such as hiking, bowling, visiting a place such a museum or a great restaurant, etc.
